Andrew’s passion for building boats began at an early age. As a young boy, he was endlessly fascinated by how things worked, especially anything that could float. He would spend hours crafting balsa wood boat models, powering them with electric motors salvaged from old radio-controlled cars. What began as childhood curiosity quickly became a deep-rooted love for marine design.

That passion resurfaced years later when Andrew pursued a degree in Industrial Design at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. There, he honed his creative and technical skills, learning how to bring innovative ideas to life through form, function, and purpose. After graduating, he joined Metal Shark Boats as a Design Engineer, where he deepened his expertise and gained valuable experience working on complex marine projects. It was a time of growth that reinforced his calling and refined his vision.

In 2019, Andrew took a leap of faith and founded Saint Andrew Boatworks, LLC. Fueled by purpose and a strong belief in the journey ahead, he stepped into the unknown with a clear mission: to build better boats that stand the test of time and create lasting memories for those who step aboard. Since then, Andrew credits every opportunity and milestone to God’s continued provision and guidance, which has shaped the path of Saint Andrew Boatworks from the very beginning.
